Garnier Micellar Oil-Infused Cleansing Water.

I’m picky when it comes to skincare.

A product could have a £5 or £50 price tag, if it does the job and leaves my skin feeling silky smooth and ultra clean, then it will certainly be one to add to my “to try” list and non-existent skincare routine.

I’ve used cleansing oil for months now and always return them. For my dry skin type, they work a treat, removing every last scrap of makeup gently from the skin.

Of course, I never just cleanse without removing the majority of makeup from my face beforehand anyway. Even though I try new skincare products all the time, micellar water sill features heavily in my routine and is something I will always have in my stash. Garnier’s original micellar water impressed me months ago and have been a long-time favourite.

Bearing in mind how my skin favours oily based products, I was actually a little excited when I came across their “nourishing” oil version in Boots. Designed for dry and sensitive skin, their SkinActive Oil-Infused Micellar Cleansing Water is one of the best make up removers I have ever tried, it’s incredible. Just remember to give the bottle a shake to mix the oil and the micellar water as if you skip this step, it can be a little oily on the skin.

This water gently removes everything. For the nights when you stumble home late and are in the mood for a midnight munch, the last thing on your mind are all those skincare steps. This is effective and works quickly so your head can hit the pillow much faster.

I’m obsessed with cleaning and taking care of my skin properly and on those late nights, this water is a Godsend. With every swipe of a cotton pad, this dissolves everything in the most effortless and gentle way possible, there is no need to rub the skin in a harsh way. Skin is left nourished and soft with no oily residue in sight. This is one hard working product.

At just £5.99 it is well worth the money and is fast becoming one of my absolute favourite skincare products.

Stay Fancy,
