My Everyday Accessories

When it comes to accessories, I like to have a few classic pieces that go with everything. I used to buy big statement pieces that were colourful and unique because I thought they looked fun, but over time I found that it was too difficult to actually style them without looking gaudy. Now I just have a handful of accessories that are my go-to pieces for everyday looks.

s-l300A Micheal Kors watch was at the top of my wish list for the longest time. They’re such a nice accessory that will never go out of style, and they look perfect with every outfit. Anyone who knows me knows how much I love rose gold jewellery- my friends and family surprised me with a rose gold Micheal Kors watch on my 21st birthday and I’ve been in love with the brand ever since.

I’m a really big fan of simple rings that can be worn alone or stacked together. Minimal and geometric rings in silver and rose gold tones have been catching my eye lately. Shops like Nikita By Niki, Asos, New Look and Forever 21 always have the cutest selection of rings and I’ve found quite a few favourites from these brands over the years.

I’ve not always been a fan of necklaces unless I am attending a big event in which I would wear a statement piece, but a couple months ago I was introduced to simple necklaces that can help to add a little something to the outfit rather than be the focal point of the entire look. Just like with rings, Nikita By Niki, Asos, New Look, H&M and Forever 21 are usually the places I find most of my favourite necklaces. Right now my go-to necklace is a rose gold rectangle necklace my sister got me for Christmas.

A lot of my accessories are from Nikita By Niki, I absolutely love her jewellery because not only does she do beautiful, high quality hand made minimals but also statement pieces for when you’re dressing up for a special occasion.
